Old Funeral was born 17th of May 1988 and died in October 1992.



This album contains what happened in between. No tracks are re-mixed, nothing has been touched up. It’s all straight from original tapes. These recordings feature legendary artists (members of BURZUM, IMMORTAL, HADES, The BATALLION) in several unique line ups pioneering some of the oldest Norwegian black, deathrash and death metal!

This complete compilation, featuring ALL tracks Old Funeral ever recorded, follows Old Funeral from their rebellious youth through to an ending in darkness.



This 12″DOUBLE LP edition comes on clear vinyl and is limited to 500 copies worldwide. Comes with 2 double sided inserts.

Double vinyl edition of Ophthalamia’s dark masterpiece from 1995, Via Dolorosa.



Sweden’s Ophthalamia was formed in 1989 by IT (known for his work in Abruptum). Ophthalamia was a fantasy-world created by IT and the songs were connected to stories based around this fantasy-world. Though the band could be classified as Black Metal, there is much more to Ophthalamia, with diverse Metal influences and Progressive passages, along with some strong atmospherics.



Via Dolorosa also includes a cover of the Mayhem classic, Deathcrush and the line-up featured IT (Tony Särkkä) with Legion (ex-Marduk), on vocals. Also appearing on the album was Emil ‘Nightmare Industries’ Nodtveidt and Winter (drummer for Swedish Death Metallers Edge of Sanity).



This vinyl edition of Via Dolorosa contains new liner notes from producer Dan Swano and Slayer Magazine’s Metalion, including their memories of Tony “IT” Särkkä, who died in February 2017.

The long sold out DLP will be repressed through NWN. People on the outside may see this as an oddball release so let me provide some background.



After moving to the bay area in 1997 to attend a university, I spent any free time I had at Amoeba SF. Amoeba in the late 90's and early 2000's was amazing! This was pre-Discogs era when you could find rare records for reasonable prices. Over the course of several years I found stuff like Burzum LPs, Sabbat 7"s, Beherit 7", Morbid LP, Bathory yellow goat LP, Blasphemy LP and many others. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to find rare stuff there anymore thanks to Discogs and Ebay.

I would often run into Jef at Amoeba (probably chatting with Steve Crebain) because he was living near Height/Ashbury at the time. One thing lead to another and I hired him to do several cover artwork on NWN (Sabbat triple 6" and Cult of Daath DLP) and eventually collaborated on the Von Goat LP. The gunmen tattoo on my left arm was done by Jef as well when he was at Black Rose. Jef was faced with great tragedy around 2004. This was around the same time that Lurker of Chalice was recorded. It's not fake misanthropy that you hear on the recording. While Leviathan has never clicked with me, LoC remains as one of a handful of post-2000 black metal albums that I hold in high regard.
